Lakeland's Work-Based Learning / Next-Level Programs of Study!

Dual Credit & Work-Based Learning Opportunities for Juniors and Seniors

Our school is proud to offer dual credit and work-based learning opportunities to students at the Jr/Sr High. These programs allow students to earn both high school and college credit while gaining real-world experience. They are designed to help students explore careers, develop valuable skills, and get a head start on their post-graduation plans.

Dual Credit Programs
Through partnerships with local colleges and universities, students can take college-level courses during the school day or online. This allows them to earn credits that count toward both high school graduation and college degree requirements. Students in dual credit courses have the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects, from business and technology to healthcare and the arts.

Work-Based Learning
Through work-based learning programs, students can gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields in addition to academic coursework. These opportunities provide real-world job experience, mentoring, and the chance to develop professional skills in fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, education, and more. Students earn high school credit while working alongside industry professionals, giving them a competitive edge when it comes to entering the workforce or pursuing higher education.

Start planning for your future today!

"I'm beyond to lead our Work-Based Learning program and help students connect classroom lessons with real-world experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to explore careers, build practical skills, and gain the confidence they need to succeed in the workforce or college. I'm looking forward to working with each student to see them grow, learn, and thrive in this hands-on environment."
