Lakeland School Corporation will have an in-person registration day on August 6th from 10 am to 6 pm at Lakeland Intermediate School. This is for any of our families needing assistance with on-line registration! We will have Spanish interpreters available, computers, tech support, and several community organizations will be there with information & giveaways too. Mr. Albaugh will be on 99.3 FM at 8:00 AM tomorrow to talk about the Lakeland Cyber Academy with Mike Stiles. The Cyber Academy offers a full business pathway to graduation for Indiana students!

LCYC and the Parks Department are partnering again to host a youth event - "LaGrange County Connecting with Youth"- at Delt Church Park on June 22, 2024. This is the third year for this event and it continues to grow each year.
Families with any age children are welcome to attend; however, the door prize raffle tickets will only be passed out to children in grades 6-12.
This is a free event - lunch will be provided while supplies last.

Due to internet provider issues beyond our control, Lakeland phone systems are not working properly. We have also had to cancel ILEARN testing for the day. We hope that our provider is able to fix this soon! Sorry for the inconvenience!
There is NOT a safety issue at Lakeland Intermediate School. We are aware that some students are reporting to their families that there is a problem. The issue has been investigated by our SRO and administration and there is no imminent danger. Lakeland families can check email for more details.

ISBA is hosting a series of four live webinars free of charge for anyone considering running for school board. ISBA will provide resources to support individuals who decide to run for a school board seat, including an election procedures legal memo, a school board candidate resource guide, and a FAQ resource. The first webinar, focused on understanding school board roles and responsibilities, is scheduled for Thursday, May 9. As a reminder, this year’s window to file as a candidate for school board is Tuesday, May 21, through Thursday, June 20.
