Device Expectations

As a reminder, the below student expectations were signed by each family at the beginning of the school year. More information can be found in the Elementary Handbook.

At Home: Use the device for school related assignments.

In the Classroom: Use and have open only when instructed.

In the Hallway: Device closed and secure while walking from class to class.

Outdoors: Be aware of outdoor conditions and keep Device secure and undamaged.

On the Bus: Store in your backpack. Keep and protect your backpack.

At Home: Keep your device in a safe place, away from food and drink. Only the student assigned to the device should be using it.

In the Classroom: Hold device correctly, or have it flat on your desk when in use. Store device in a safe place when not in use. Only the student assigned to the device should be using it.

In the Hallway: Device should be in your classroom when not in use.

Outdoors: Device should be inside the students backpack or secured properly when not in use.

On the Bus: Store in your backpack until you are at a safe place to use the device.

At Home: Bring your device back to school the next school day.

In the Classroom: Devices are a learning tool; not a toy.

In the Hallway: Keep your device in your possession.

Outdoors: Devices should only be outside when working on school related assignments.

On the Bus: Keep your device with you.

At Home: Follow school policies when using device.

In the Classroom: Use audio, video, camera, etc. features appropriately.

In the Hallway: Return unattended devices to the office or your teacher.

Outdoors: Only take your device outside when directed by a staff member.

On the Bus: Return unattended devices to the bus driver or another staff member.
